When it’s cold and not raining, it helps to have a fire pit.
It’s outside on the deck and help to make the deck more enjoyable during less warm months like these.
The mesh on top prevents large pieces falling onto the deck, so it’s pretty safe to use.
And I have three big boxes of scrap wood that can be used for it for the coming weeks.
You need marshmallows. Or better yet S’mores – quick, easy, and good.
1 large marshmallow
1 graham cracker
1 (1.5 ounce) bar chocolate candy bar

Heat the marshmallow over an open flame until it begins to brown and melt.
Break the graham cracker in half. Sandwich the chocolate between the cracker and the hot marshmallow. Allow the marshmallow to cool a moment before eating.
Sounds good, I’ll give it a try soon.
Is the bottom of the ‘stove’ isolated? (Guess so…)
With your appetite you need more than 1 (see recipe). Make it on huge bag, box, or so… 🙂
The pit is above the deck about 5 inches, so heat radiation down is not an issue. And the mesh on top prevents large pieces from hitting the deck
