Fire pit definitely is not the pits

Today was sunny and without wind. But not hot or even warm, so the fire pit comes to the rescue;
It’s now 7:30 PM (19:30) and I’m outside on the deck next to a blazing fire pit.

There’s a full moon and no wind. All I can hear is some dogs barking in the distance and the odd car driving by about a mile away.

That round little dot above the fire is the full moon.
It’s now a lot easier to navigate on the deck at night, thanks to the smart deck light,
which turns on at sunset and off at 11:30 PM (or when I tell Siri to)

The hat by the way is from Cavenders, so my first hat that wasn’t made in China.
I went to Cavenders with Arnoud to get a nice hat, looked at Stetson (which is supposed to be the best US made hats)
but found this one to be more comfortable, and easier on the wallet too.

  1. Photo caption: Feeling proud and satisfied the log-home pretty much finished – Boudewijn in deep contemplation what to do next with his life 🙂

    1. More like contemplating how to get it all finished before the end of the year 🤠. But definitely happy with how things are turning out.

  2. aha now I see the pit is ‘off the floor’!

    You and your support teams have done a tremendous job, B. You can not be anything else than satisfied, even when you won’t finish it all before the end of the year.

    Merry Christmas, (have a safe flight home B) and a wunderfull, healthy 2019 to all!!
